Stock & Dispatch

We aim to despatch all orders except special orders within 10 working days, usually sooner and often same or next day, although there are occasionally times when items go out of stock for a period of time.  In these cases customers will be informed as soon as we know of a problem and given the option to either cancel or amend those parts of their order affected or accept the item on back-order.

Delivery

Orders are dispatched in suitable secure, packaging by the method most appropriate to the size and value of the order, minimum Recorded Delivery. There is no external indication of the company name apart from a return address of SJO Trading.

Taxes

UK Taxes are included in the price quoted where appropriate. 

How to Buy

Just add your chosen items to your basket using the Add to Basket buttons on each product page and then when you've finished shopping go to checkout via a View Basket button. The checkout screen will ask for your delivery details and a payment method (detailed below) and also give you an opportunity to amend your cart contents if you wish. Once you've chosen your payment method, press Click to Order and you will automatically be taken to the next stage for your payment. This will be to the secure servers of the appropriate card processing company if you are paying by Credit or Debit Card or to the postal payment confirmation screen.

An email acknowledging your order will automatically be sent to you by the website. Please note that this is sent in advance of receipt of payment but that your order is only actioned once payment has been received. If you are paying by credit or debit card, you will also receive a confirmation email from the card processing company once you have successfully completed their requirements. Please note that the information that we collect from you is separate from the credit or debit card company requirements for information - see our privacy notice below. Any orders for which there is no matching payment received will be automatically discarded by the system.

Payment methods

Payment Methods Available - UK Customers Only

UK Credit and Debit Cards up to £300 via NOCHEX: We can accept UK Credit Card (Visa and Mastercard) and Debit card (Switch, Solo, Delta, Visa Electron and Maestro) payments up to £300.00 without any requirement for you to sign up for a Nochex account. If you already have an account then normal Nochex limits apply.

PAYPAL: Credit or Debit card payments can be accepted through Paypal, normally with no requirement for account sign up. We particularly welcome payments from existing Paypal account holders via this method.

UK CHEQUE OR POSTAL ORDER: If you wish to pay using either of these methods, add your purchases to your basket and then choose the appropriate option during checkout. Details of where to send your payment will be given during checkout and also in an email confirming your order. Please note that your order will not be processed until payment has been received and that cheques must be drawn on a British Bank Account.

Please note that we currently ship only within the United Kingdom and Channel Islands

Returns

Please inform us before returning any goods (sales@gadge-it.co.uk) for whatever reason and we will advise of the returns address. This is not the correspndence address shown below.

Faulty goods returned within 14 days of receipt will be fully refunded or replaced. Items bought in error can also be returned to us, within 7 working days of receipt please, provided that they are in as supplied condition, and in their original, undamaged packaging. We recommend that you obtain at least proof of posting for all returns to protect you in the unlikely event of your return going astray.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.

The type of information we may collect about you if supplied to us includes:

. your name, address, phone number and email address
. Delivery name & address if different
. Details of items ordered
. IP address from which the order was placed

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. By placing an order with us you are agreeing to allow us to us to collect the above information for the stated purpose of fulfulling your order.

All Credit and Debit Card transactions with us are handled securely through Nochex or Paypal as appropriate and we at SJO Trading / Gadge-It are never in possession of your credit card number. Never send credit card or other sensitive information by email, this information is only requested through Paypal or Nochex and at no other time. All of these systems use secure servers to collect and process your credit or debit card information

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

We do use cookies to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site and to keep track of items that you add to your cart. This uses a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. If you modify your browser to prevent this happening, you may not be able to place orders on our site. The information collected in this way is stored against a 'session code' which time expites and can therefore not be used as a permanent identification by us.
